‘Performance of the Night’: Mayra Bueno Silva
A proven finisher in the women’s bantamweight division, Mayra Bueno Silva added another highlight to her reel with a spectacular finish of Lina Lansberg. In the second round, Silva took the fight to the ground, and controlled her opponent in every position. Lansberg managed to slip away, but she stayed too close, and Silva was able to wrap up her leg in a beautiful kneebar to force the tap. It was Silva’s second straight finish by submission, and worthy of her third $50,000 bonus.
‘Fight of the Night’: Nazim Sadykhov vs. Evan Elder

A lightweight bout between a newcomer and a one-fight UFC veteran left a lasting impression at UFC Fight Night 219. Nazim Sadykhov made his debut against Evan Elder, in a bout that was an all-action striking affair. Both fighters landed hard punches in exchanges as they tussled around every inch of the octagon. The bout came to an unfortunate ending early in the third after a nasty cut was opened above Elder’s right eye, but the fact this contest still took home the Fight of the Night speaks to the intense action that preceded the stoppage. Sadykhov walks away with the TKO victory and Elder with stitches, but both have an extra $50,000 to take home as their first UFC career bonus.
‘Performance of the Night’: Erin Blanchfield
After her original opponent, former title challenger Taila Santos had to pull out just days before the fight, Erin Blanchfield found herself against an equally, if not tougher test in former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade. Blanchfield answered any questions about her contender status by tapping Andrade in the second round with a rear-naked choke after she displayed sharp striking on the feet. For her efforts, she takes home her first $50,000 bonus and the status of a new contender for the women’s flyweight title.
