Ghanaian Radio and Television Personality Afia Pokua also known as Vim Lady by many has called for an end to the brewing feud between Nana Ama McBrown and Mzgee.
Nana Ama McBrown, a former host of United Showbiz at UTV left the network to Onua TV.
Nana Ama was replaced with Mzgee as the new presenter of the most watched local weekend entertainment show in Ghana.
Issues surrounding Nana Ama’s departure from UTV has generated rumours of a bad blood between her and her former employers.
Miss McBrown hosted the first episode of her show dubbed “Show Time with Nana Ama McBrown” last Sunday.
The first episode saw more than 12k Facebook organic views whilst Mzgee her replacement at UTV was able to garner about 2k.
This is gradually being fueled by their fans to an extent that if not checked could generate into a full blown beef between these two talents.
Vim Lady foreseeing what the incessant trolling, name callings and comparison could become in the near future issued stern warning to the public.
Vim Lady said comparing only social media views of these great talents is not the best way to measure efficiency.
She described the comparison as childish and needless. According to her, only the Key Performance Indicators of these two shows can determine the best among them.
She called on the public to desist from acts that will bring division among women and focus on supporting them for greater impact.
Hitherto, the media space was dominated by male presenters and it’s a win that we now have women doing great stuff on TV she said.
