Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on May 13!
SEVENTEEN’s new mini album “FML” shot to No. 1 on the World Albums chart this week, following its delayed physical release in the United States, and it also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2, marking SEVENTEEN’s highest ranking yet on the chart.
BTS’ Suga’s first official solo album “D-DAY,” which he released under the name Agust D, took No. 2 in its second consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The album also stayed strong at No. 13 in its second week on the Billboard 200, making Suga the first K-pop soloist ever to spend three cumulative weeks in the top 15.
BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” ranked No. 4 in its sixth consecutive week on the World Albums chart, in addition to spending a sixth week on the Billboard 200, where Jimin became the first Korean soloist to chart for six consecutive weeks.
TWICE’s latest mini album “READY TO BE” held steady at No. 5 in its eighth consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The mini album also spent an eighth week on the Billboard 200, making TWICE the first female K-pop artist ever to chart three different albums for eight weeks.
TXT’s mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” also remained stable at No. 6 in its 14th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, in addition to spending its 14th week in a row on the Billboard 200.
BTS’s anthology album “Proof” came in at No. 7 in its 47th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while the group’s 2020 album “Map of the Soul: 7” rose to No. 10 in its 137th non-consecutive week.
LE SSERAFIM’s new full-length album “UNFORGIVEN” made a strong debut at No. 8, even though sales data for the physical version of the album is not reflected in this week’s charts due to its shipment schedule in the United States.
Finally, Stray Kids’ 2022 mini album “MAXIDENT” climbed back up to No. 11 in its 27th non-consecutive week on the chart, with NCT 127’s repackaged album “Ay-Yo” rounding out the top 15 in its ninth consecutive week.
