April 22, (THEWILL) – Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be planning a massive bid for Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, during the upcoming transfer window. The club is reportedly willing to submit a €150million offer to secure the star player.

Osimhen, who joined Napoli in a record-breaking €70m deal from Lille three years ago, has had an outstanding season. The 24-year-old has scored an impressive 21 goals in 24 Serie A matches and five goals in six UEFA Champions League games.

According to reports monitored by THEWILL, Chelsea is also interested in Osimhen’s services, but Paris Saint-Germain is hoping to beat the competition by submitting a serious bid early. Football Insider claims that the French club is willing to meet Napoli’s asking price to secure the deal.

The seriousness of the Ligue 1 giants to facilitate this move cannot be removed from the potential exit of Lionel Messi at the end of the season with the expiration of his current contract. Negotiations for an extension have not materialised and it is now believed that the Argentine has made up his mind to leave.
