VIRGIN Media star Muireann O’Connell’s fans went wild for her jaw-dropping green top she wore on Ireland AM.

The presenter was back on air this morning alongside Tommy Bowe and Alan Hughes.

After the show Muireann took to social media to show off her fabulous outfit.

The host looked incredible in an elegant green shirt which she tied at the front.

The striking bright-green top had a flattering curved hem, a pointed collar, cuffed sleeves and a patch pocket on the chest.

Muireann revealed that she got the shirt from Cos.

The piece originally retailed at €69 but is now on sale for €49.

The presenter paired the top with beautiful white flared jeans and brown heels from Zara.

The Limerick star captioned her Instagram story saying: “Not for everyone I know and just realised how crap the lights are in here cause this top is GREEEEEN.”

This comes after Muireann shared a rare snap with her mum after they reunited in Limerick.

The Ireland AM presenter spent her weekend back in her home town with her fiancé and mum.

Taking to her Instagram Muireann shared some of the highlights from her weekend.

The first picture she shared was with her mum Marie.

Muireann was sporting a white t-shirt with a pink print on it and she had her hair in a high bun.

Meanwhile, her mum was in a white top with a blue cardigan over it and they both had huge smiles on their faces.

Marie also put her daughter and future son-in-law to work as they repainted the sitting room and Muireann shared a video of their progress.

She then showed off one of the beautiful outfits she wore on Ireland AM followed by a picture of herself in her PJs.

Muireann posted more outfit pictures and finally a video of her listening to a podcast.

The Limerick beauty captioned the post saying: “Marie hates my hair up so this is really gonna annoy her, and some other stuff.”

Fans and friends of the presenter flocked to her Instagram comment section to share their love for the post.

Louise commented saying: “Love love love you.”
