“John Wick: Chapter 4” has toppled Japanese animated film “Suzume,” bringing to an end its lengthy run at the top of the Korean box office.

The Hollywood action thriller has led the box office for five consecutive days since its release here on April 12, attracting 720,000 viewers on its opening day alone.

The strong start by the latest installment in the action-packed Hollywood franchise ended a five-week reign at the top for “Suzume” since its release on March 8, pushing it into second place.

Keanu Reeves, who plays the lead role, threw himself into nearly all the film’s action scenes.
