A (very, very) long-awaited collab

The H&M x Mugler collection is finally here (and unsurprisingly, almost fully sold out). The limited edition capsule features 38 iconic looks—including archival remakes—that are meant to be gender-fluid and representative of the brand’s DNA. Expect lots of black, cutouts, and mesh, along with neon brights, cinched blazers, and oversized silhouettes.  

Calling all new moms

FP Movement (Free People’s activewear-minded in-house label) teamed up with mom-loved brand Hatch on a maternity clothing capsule. The theme? Summer workout essentials. You’ll find here everything from bike shorts and sports bras to comfy onesies and maternity leggings and skorts. 

Fun in the sun 

Staud teamed up with Shopbop to launch an exclusive swim capsule, which dropped on May 4 and includes everything from beaded one-piece swimsuits to fruity crochet bikinis—it’s all here and ready to put you in a vacation state of mind. 

There are a few firsts for the popular lingerie brand Cuup this month: one-piece swimsuits, bandeau bikini tops (the brand previously just sold triangle and scoop styles), a cute floral print (in addition to new seasonal hues), and beach towels and pareos that make for cute beach coverups. Even better? Everything from the new collection is currently 25% off ahead of Memorial Day. (Psst: Head here for other great Memorial Day clothing sales happening right now.) 

Also in time to get you prepped for Memorial Day Weekend, one of our most-worn jewelry brands, Jenny Bird, added sunglasses and anklets to its lineup of cute everyday essentials. The shades are made of recycled and biodegradable materials (steel and acetate, respectively); the anklets are chunky and statement-making. 

For beach cover-ups and other fun summer outfit ideas, Ba&sh’s La Isla collection has you covered with gorgeous maxis, crocheted sets, and printed tops. 

Embrace sandal season with Forte_forte and Manebí—the two Italian brands teamed up on a capsule of lace-up sandals and canvas espadrilles with offbeat details like terry cloth and multicolored beading. For brides-to-be, Ancient Greek Sandals just launched bridal sandals that are perfect for destination weddings and after-parties in the sand.

Drive to survive 

The Miami Grand Prix may just have wrapped but there’s still a full season of races take place. Suit up to rep Scuderia Ferrari at the next Emilia-Romagna race—home base for The Prancing Horse—with Puma drops designed by June Ambrose (and first debuted at Miami). The jacket’s an instant must-have, though you’ll love the jumpsuit and cropped tees just as much.

What’s in season

After working with the likes of Nike, Levi’s, and Stüssy, model and influencer Adrienne Ho just launched The Farmers Market Global, a tenniscore-inspired athleisure brand that collaborates with farmers and small agricultural businesses to support their communities. Woman-owned brand Deseda—which works with artists to create silk scarves based on their designs—debuted a new scarf that perfectly encapsulates the freedom of summer. Aptly named Zest for Life, it’s a geometric kaleidoscope of the fruits, flowers, and vegetables of the Spanish countryside and is meant to “celebrate the joyous Mediterranean lifestyle: good food, generous sunlight, and vivid colors.” The designer behind this work is Barcelona-based illustrator and graphic designer, Lorena G.

A “slow” fashion collab

Madewell teamed up with the Mexico-based made-to-order brand Chava Studio on a limited-edition spring capsule of patchwork shirts, shorts, and scrunchies made entirely from luxe deadstock fabrics. Honoring the time and craftsmanship that went into producing these pieces, each item also includes a hand-numbered tag. 

Sneakermania 

Put your restock notifications on: Sandy Liang and Salomon dropped two still-sold-out-but-soon-to-return sneakers that are what fashion girlies’ gorpcore dreams are made of.

Inspired by (what else?) the upcoming Barbie movie, Merrell unveiled a retina-burning, neon pink version of its best-selling Antora 3 sneaker with Sweaty Betty. The vibrant trail runner is waterproof and has a grippy Vibram sole that guarantees your fellow hikers will find you if you go off the trail and get lost past sunset.

Everything’s coming up rosettes

Big blooming rosettes were everywhere at the Met Gala, though the ones we can’t stop thinking about are these darling creations from Jennifer Behr. 

“The softest denim in the world”  

Still Here’s Cloud collection is officially available to shop. The capsule (which includes three denim styles and one short-sleeve jeans shirt) is made from 100% cotton and uses a special type of weaving technology that the brand says allowed them “to achieve a super-airy and drapey feel.” 

In the bag 

First it was summer wedding guest dresses, then shoes, now bags. Cool-girl brand Reformation just unveiled a few core handbag styles—convertible top handles, shoulder bags, and an XXL tote—in sustainably sourced leather and suede, ranging from $248 to $698.

One of our favorite women-owned brands and Greece-based designer Marina Raphael just launched a select number of styles at Neiman Marcus—we’re love in with pretty much everything, but especially this coral reef-inspired design featuring hundreds of little Swarovski crystals.  

On the more luxe side of things, Saint Laurent debuted a new bucket bag that Hailey Bieber will probably carry any minute now, while Loewe’s raffia shopper is destined to become the must-have designer/beach bag of summer.
